Extra-Curricular Activities
Extra-Curricular Activities
At Woodlands, we believe that education is about more than just what happens behind a desk. To truly prepare students for the world, we focus on building cultural capital - the essential knowledge, behaviours, and experiences that empower young people to navigate society with confidence and curiosity.
By stepping out of the classroom and into real-life environments, students gain the "social currency" they need to succeed in higher education and the professional world. Our extra-curricular programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and lived experience.
Out of Hours Activities
Staff at Woodlands work hard to provide as many opportunities for children as possible.
We have a wide range of activities to develop children's skills in a variety of areas in particular the arts and sports. We aim to give our children the chance to enjoy and excel in their chosen area.

Greggs Breakfast Club
We are very privileged at Woodlands to have a 'Greggs breakfast club' which starts at 8:15am every day. This club is fully funded by Greggs and offers lots of yummy, healthy breakfast foods to fuel the children with energy for the school day. We provide lots of fun activities for the children to enjoy with their friends in a warm and caring environment.
