What is Safeguarding? Safeguarding means that adults must keep you safe. It is our job to make sure you are happy, healthy, and safe from harm.

Your Rights

  • You have the right to feel safe wherever you are.

  • You have the right to be listened to.

  • You have the right to say "No" to things that make you feel uncomfortable.

What is the "Uh-Oh" Feeling? Do you ever get a feeling in your tummy like butterflies? Or does your heart beat fast because you are worried? That is your body telling you something isn't right. If you get that feeling—at school, at home, or online—you need to use your voice.

Who can I talk to? If you are worried about yourself or a friend, you can talk to any adult in our school. However, we have a special "Safety Team" whose main job is to help you:
